MP Wimal Weerawansa, MP Udaya Gammanpila and the independent group from the Government have unanimously decided to vote for Presidential candidate MP Dullas Alahapperuma tomorrow during the Parliamentary vote for the next President of Sri Lanka.
Earlier today, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa announced that he was withdrawing from the run for President and would be supporting Alahapperuma in his race against Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe and National People's Power MP Anura Kumar Dissanayaka for the seat as President.
