The 33 Sri Lankan students from Wuhan, China who were discharged from the Diyatalawa quarantine facility met Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at the Army Headquarters in Akuregoda yesterday (14).
During the event, all those involved in the humanitarian mission were commended and recognized for their selfless and prompt efforts.
Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Ravinatha Aryasinha, officials from the Civil Aviation Authority, Senior officials of the Sri Lanka Army and officials from Foreign Ministry participated in the event.
