Easter Sunday attack main suspect Zahran Hashim has taken an oath from 15 females who attended his classes on extremism, to carry out suicide attacks at any given time, the 24-year-old suspect who was arrested on Friday has revealed.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said today that the classes have been conducted in Kattankudy in 2018.
"Investigations revealed that 15 women have been taking part in these classes. Five of them have been killed in Saindamarudu attack as they committed suicide. Another three females are in remand custody while seven others including the suspect arrested on Friday are being detained," he said.
