349 Sri Lankans who were unable to return to Sri Lanka arrived in the island this morning, stated the National Operations Center for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
The group includes 275 Sri Lankans in Korea, 21 in Qatar and 53 in Japan. All of them were sent to quarantine centers after being subjected to PCR tests at the Katunayake Airport.
Accordingly 5537 persons in 54 quarantine centers are currently being quarantined.
The National Center for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) states that 13065 PCR tests were carried out yesterday.
