8 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 a short while ago, raising the total number of cases in the country to 855.
Out of the 8 patients reported, 6 are identified as Navy officers and 2 had recently flown in from Dubai and were placed in quarantine.
Meanwhile, 61 patients have fully recovered and were discharged earlier today, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 321.
The deadly virus has claimed 9 lives so far.
Health Authorities said a total of 1424 PCR tests were conducted today.
