A total of 895 Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday (24).
Of these 895, 218 were reported from Colombo and 129 were reported from Gampaha.
One police area and two Grama Niladhari areas in Kurunegala are currently in isolation. Meanwhile, one Grama Niladhari area in Kalutara is also isolated.
Additionally, 19 persons have been arrested within yesterday in respect of the offences of failure to wear facemasks and maintain social distancing.
