An Advanced Level student in Chilaw has tested positive for COVID-19 today (09), stated the Chilaw Police.
"The student is a resident of Arachchikattuwa and is an A/L candidate this year," stated an official of the Chilaw Police.
Accordingly, the student has been admitted to the Chilaw General Hospital and all close associates of the student have been quarantined and will be undergoing PCR testing.
