Sri Lankan songstress Yohani has condemned the media for comparing her to the "legendary" A R Rahman. This was expressed when The Morning contacted Yohani today (15). "A R Rahman is a God in music. How can I possibly be compared to such a legend? I'm disappointed that the media would choose to compare me with Rahman. I want to one day work with Rahman, he is my idol," said Yohani. Posts were circulated widely on social media yesterday of Yohani's youtube channel having 2.95mn subscribers, compared to A R Rahman's 2.93mn subscribers.
