<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-64720 alignleft" src="http://www.themorning.lk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/01-300x201.jpg" alt="" />A Sri Lanka Air Force aircraft has crashed in Haputale this morning killing four persons on-board.

According to the Air Force Spokesperson, the Y-12 aircraft crashed on its way to Rathmalana from Weerawila.

Amoung the dead are Squadron Leader WAMBNB Weebedda, Flight lieutenant KMDL Kulathunga, supporting Staff members Sergeant DWRW Kumara and LAC Hettiaarachchi.

The Ari Force said it has appointed a committee to investigate on the crash of the aircraft.
