The Cabinet has approved a proposal put forward by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa which details that all Cabinet Ministers should donate their salaries towards the Covid-19 fund.
According to Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage, salaries for the month of August will be donated.
This move comes after both the SJB and SLFP stated that their MPs will donate their salaries towards the same cause.
