The All Ceylon Nurses’ Union has made a decision to engage in trade union (TU) action from tomorrow (31).
According to the General Secretary of the Union H. M. S. B. Mediwatta, the reason for this action is due to the failure to provide proper solutions to the issues faced by nurses involved in treating Covid-19 patients.
The TU action will be a display of nurses going on sick leave from tomorrow (31) until 01 June.
