The Anuradhapura District Office of the Department of Motor Traffic has been temporarily closed.
This was announcement by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, Sumith C. K. Alahakoon.
The decision has been taken due to the risk posed by the Covid-19 virus in the area.
The Commissioner General further stated that efforts are being made to ensure the hygiene of the premises.
