The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says the country’s water quality remains safe despite the recent disaster.

NWSDB Chairman Chandana Bandara stated that uninterrupted water supply has been maintained in 13 of the 22 affected districts, ensuring continued access to clean drinking water for the public.
