The talks focused on the role of the industrial sector in economic stability and growth.

The Minister briefed the IMF on challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises and support measures in place.

The IMF acknowledged the importance of industrial growth within Sri Lanka’s reform programme.

Discussions also covered export processes, investment environment, and potential incentives for local industries.
