The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 9-hour water supply disruption in Colombo and several surrounding areas tomorrow (6).

The interruption will be in effect from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., affecting Colombo 1–15, Battaramulla, Pelawatta, Hokandara, Koswatta, Thalawathugoda, Kotte, Rajagiriya, Mirihana, Madiwela, Nugegoda, Nawala, Kolonnawa, IDH, Kotikawatta, Angoda, Wellampitiya, Orugodawatta, Mulleriyawa, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, and Moratuwa.

The NWSDB has urged residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance to minimize inconvenience during the supply interruption.
