President Anura Kumara Disanayaka, has arrived in India today (17) to participate in the inaugural AI Impact Summit 2026 the first-ever summit of its kind to be hosted in the Global South.
Amidst a rapidly changing technological landscape where emerging innovations are transforming economies and societies, Sri Lanka’s involvement highlights the significance and priority of the India–Sri Lanka partnership.
It also reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that technological progress remains inclusive, responsible, and centered around people.
Building on the momentum generated by the President’s historic State Visit in December 2024 and the joint vision “Fostering Partnerships for a Shared Future,” the two nations have strengthened their collaboration across various domains.
