A tragic accident in Nagashandiya, Kalutara, resulted in the death of a 21-year-old motorcyclist, while the pillion rider sustained critical injuries. 

The incident involved a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The deceased, a resident of Samagipura, Waskaduwa, Kalutara North, was traveling from Panadura towards Kalutara with a friend at the time of the accident. 

According to police reports, the collision occurred when the motorcyclist attempted to make a right turn onto a by-road and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the car has been arrested by Kalutara North Police in connection with the incident as investigations continue.
