A 24-year-old Sri Lankan passenger has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with 1.48kg of ‘Kush’ cannabis worth around Rs.14.8mn, the Police Narcotics Bureau said.

The suspect, who arrived from Bangkok, was arrested after the drug was found concealed in his luggage. He is due to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court.
