The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has started issuing admissions for the Korean Language Proficiency Test (KLPT) for jobs in South Korea's manufacturing and fisheries sectors.

Applications can be submitted online at www.slbfe.lk until midnight on October 17, 2025. 

To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39 and have no criminal convictions. The exam fee is Rs. 8,428.40.

Individuals with spinal injuries, certain physical disabilities, a history of deportation from Korea, or those who have worked there for more than five years on an E-9 or E-10 visa are not eligible to apply.
