Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) have stated that registration of ‘Dansal’ for Vesak has commenced islandwide.

PHIU President K.P. Boralessa noted that organisers must inform the relevant PHI and register their ‘Dansal’, providing details on location and type.

He stated that PHIs will conduct inspections and awareness programmes to ensure health and safety standards.

Boralessa warned that legal action will be taken against those who conduct unregistered or unsafe ‘Dansal’ events.
