The Colombo Special High Court Trial-at-Bar has ordered defence evidence to be presented on 26 March in the case filed against former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara.

The case relates to their alleged failure to act on prior intelligence warnings to prevent the 2019 Sri Lanka Easter bombings.

Both defendants were present in court when the case was taken up for hearing today (13).
