The Northern Province phase of the “Clean Sri Lanka” Coastal Leisure Park Development Project was launched yesterday (20), starting with Vellanai coastal park in Jaffna District under the theme “From the Heart to Jaffna” with Rs. 2.6 million allocated. 

The initiative will develop 43 coastal sites across 14 districts, featuring parks, viewpoints, and walking tracks, with support from multiple state and local institutions.
