A container truck has overturned near Orugodawatta Junction in the Grandpass Police Division, blocking two lanes on the road from Dematagoda to Peliyagoda.

Police have introduced traffic diversions to manage congestion while clearance operations are underway.

The truck overturned while making a right turn after travelling from Avissawella towards Peliyagoda.

Authorities are working to restore normal traffic flow as soon as possible.
