The three-day strike by doctors at the Ratnapura Teaching Hospital has been called off. 

The decision came after the Ministry of Health issued a letter removing the hospital's director from his position and reassigning him to the Ministry. 

This was confirmed by the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA).
