Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath stated that he held discussions with New Zealand Parliament Opposition Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Vanushi Walters on bilateral relations.

He noted that talks covered trade, tourism, investment opportunities, and Sri Lanka’s economic and political developments.

Herath also stated that discussions included the role of the Sri Lankan diaspora in New Zealand and strengthening cooperation between both sides.
