Death of man returning from quarantine centre: PCR results pending

  The PCR results of the man found dead after returning home from a quarantine in Puttalam are still pending, Chief Epidemiologist of the Health Ministry, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said. The deceased was found dead yesterday (06) in Puttalam. He had been working in a restaurant in Heppetipola and had been quarantined along with several of the workers in the same restaurant. He had finished his quarantine procedure on Thursday (05), and had died on the way to his home yesterday. Meanwhile, he further stated that the PCR results of the 21 year old girl who was found dead in the house are also pending.
