Train services to resume tomorrow; no stops at isolated areas

Suspended train services would be resumed from tomorrow morning skipping ahead railway stations in isolated areas except for Colombo Fort, the Railways Department said.
It said trains will be operated in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.
The Department said the trains will not stop at Maradana, Dematagoda, Kelaniya, Wanawasala, Enderamulla, Horape, Ragama, Walpola and Batuwatta Station on the Mainline.
Along the Chilaw Line, trains will not stop at Peralanda, Ja-Ela, Thudella, Kudahakapola, Kurana, Negombo and Kattuwa Railway stations.
On the Kelani Valley line, trains will not stop at Baseline Road and Cotta Road Stations and at Presidential Secretariat Station, Slave Island and Angulana Stations along the Coastal Line.
