Three more COVID-19 deaths reported

Three more COVID-19 deaths were reported today increasing the COVID-19 death toll in the country to 61, the Government Information Department said. An 84-year-old diabetic patient from Moratuwa passed away at her home from COVID-19. A 70-year-old suffering from chronic kidney disease died while receiving treatment a the IDH from a stroke and COVID-19 infection. He was a resident of Colombo 10. Meanwhile, a 75-year-old diabetic patient from Colombo 13 died from a heart failure and the virus infection.
