State Minister Dissanayake tests negative for COVID through Rapid Antigen Test

State Minister Wimalaweera Dissanayake tested negative for COVID-19 through a Rapid Antigen Test, and the reports that say he has tested positive are false, stated Media Secretary to the State Minister. Meanwhile, the regional epidemiologist of the Ampara District Dr. Wajira Rajapaksha stated that the State Minister was tested through both rapid antigen testing and PCR test. While the rapid antigen test results had been negative for COVID-19, Dr. Rajapaksha said they were awaiting his PCR test result which will be released in the evening today.
