The Central Bank of Sri Lanka(CBSL) has launched an online Complaint Management System (CMS) for financial consumers to submit complaints related to CBSL-regulated Financial Service Providers.
According to the CBSL, the platform aims to improve accountability, efficiency and transparency in handling financial complaints.
The system allows users to submit complaints online, track their progress and access the service 24 hours a day.
Consumers have been advised to first raise complaints directly with the relevant Financial Service Provider before escalating unresolved matters to the CBSL through the CMS platform.
