The Department of Meteorology has forecast showers at times in Sabaragamuwa Province and the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts today (11).

Several spells of showers may occur in the Western and North Western provinces.

Showers or thundershowers may also occur at a few places in Uva and Eastern provinces and Mullaitivu District after 2.00 p.m. The public has been advised to take precautions against strong winds and lightning.
