Jaffna Mayor V. Manivannan who was arrested earlier today (09) has been granted bail by the Jaffna Magistrate's Court. The Mayor was arrested for using five persons in uniforms similar to those used by LTTE police officers during the war, to assist in the promotion of the organization in the vicinity of Jaffna.
