Dr. Kanchana Sajeeva Narangoda has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Colombo City Holdings. The appointment will be in effect from 13 August 2021. 

Apart from this appointment in Colombo City Holdings, Dr. Narangoda is the Group Vice President of Ambeon Holdings PLC, since January 2017.  Dr. Narangoda has also served in its various subsidiaries – Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC as Chief Executive Officer as well as the Millennium IT ESP as Director/Chief Operating Officer. He served Browns Hospitals Ltd. (currently known as Melsta Hospitals) as Director/Chief Executive Officer and Hemas Hospitals Group as the Chief Operating Officer. In addition, he was appointed to the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) as an International Hospital Assessor since 2012 and was appointed as its Country Representative for Sri Lanka in July 2019.  When it comes to his educational background as a seasoned professional, he holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka and an MSc in Finance and Management from Keele University UK.  Moreover, he is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – UK, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia.  He has contributed as a Director at the Centre for Excellence in Ceramic Technology (CINTEC) Sri Lanka, Director at the Ceramic and Glass Council Sri Lanka, Council Member of the National Chamber of Exporters Sri Lanka, as well as an Advisor at the Kotelawala Defense University Hospital.
