Police have issued a public warning regarding fraudulent activities being carried out via social media platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram.

Fraudsters are reportedly using methods, including QR codes, to obtain account details and block original owners. 

They are also soliciting money for fake job opportunities. 

The Police urge the public to be cautious of income schemes, avoid clicking suspicious links from known or unknown persons, and never share account details or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) under any circumstances.
