Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has issued an Extraordinary Gazette, detailing that unvaccinated persons will not be granted entry to public places from 30 April.
“A person shall not enter any public place without having the proof of being fully vaccinated against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID – 19) unless exempted by the Proper Authority in respect of the whole of Sri Lanka.” the Gazette states.
It defines a fully vaccinated person as one who has been administered with all required doses of anti Covid-19 vaccines according to the directives of the Director General of Health Services.
