Energy Minister Gamini Lokuge stated that Government ministers had not faced any shortage of fuel as he had ensured that they did not face any shortages or languish in long fuel queues.
Lokuge told the media that he had called on fuel stations to ensure that Government ministers received their required fuel whenever they (ministers) informed him of their need to pump fuel to their vehicles.
The Minister had made this statement in response to a question posed by a journalist on the reason for Government ministers or parliamentarians not having to stay in long queues to pump fuel.
