Member of Parliament Jeewan Thondaman has resigned from his position as State Minister of Estate Housing & Community Infrastructure and the Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC). Accordingly, Thondaman has announced that he would continue to function as an independent group in Parliament henceforth.
