Two Members of Parliament have been removed from Parliament due to unruly behavior within the chamber. Accordingly, Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Chaminda Wijesiri and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi have been removed by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena. Parliamentary proceedings were temporarily halted for a period of 5 minutes.
