Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage has recently fined social media influencer and model, Piyumi Hansamali, as well as fashion designer Chandimal Jayasinghe, along with several others for violating quarantine regulations.
A total of 22 individuals including Hansamali and Jayasinghe were fined Rs. 2,000 each after they had pleaded guilty to the charges. They were released from the case afterwards.
