Prasanna Ranatunga appointed as Chief Government Whip

MP Prasanna Ranatunga has been appointed as the Chief Government Whip, it is learnt.
Ranatunga is currently serving as the Minister of Tourism and was appointed as a cabinet minister this morning by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
