Urvil Patel equalled the record for the fastest fifty in Indian Premier League history during Chennai Super Kings’ match against Lucknow Super Giantstoday(10).

The 27-year-old reached his half-century in just 13 balls at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, hitting one four and seven sixes.

He matched the record previously set by Yashasvi Jaiswal for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023.

Patel also broke Suresh Raina’s record for the fastest fifty by a Chennai Super Kings batter in the IPL.
