Sri Lanka’s Kalinga Kumarage claimed the bronze medal in the Men’s 400m event at the 26th Asian Athletics Championships in South Korea.

Competing at the Gumi Civic Stadium, Kumarage clocked a time of 45.55 seconds to finish third in the final.

The gold and silver medals went to athletes from Qatar and Japan, respectively, in a closely contested race.
