The licences of five liquor manufacturing companies have been suspended, due to the failure to pay taxes on time, sources said yesterday (2).
Accordingly, the distillery licences of the Synergy Distilleries (Pvt.) Ltd., the Finnland Distilleries Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd., the Wayamba Distilleries, W.M. Mendis and Company Ltd. and the Randenigala Distilleries Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. were suspended, the source said.
