Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Dr. Harsha de Silva has recently commended the driving skills of Opposition and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa and compared them with his leadership qualities.

De Silva has stated that Premadasa had managed to skillfully manoeuvre a bus that was being donated to the Maithripala Senanayake School in Medawachchiya in Anuradhapura, driving it into the school premises despite the small entrance space.

According to de Silva, the careful manner in which Premadasa had driven the bus into the school premises without a scratch despite the space issue gave him the confidence that Premadasa also had the ability to salvage the country’s economy in the same manner.

The SJB has been carrying out a campaign to assist schools in rural areas by donating buses and other assistance including equipment for school science labs and computer labs.
