Six bodies, two females and four males have been recovered from Deduru Oya in the Kuratiyagahamula area of Kobeigane after a group was reportedly swept away while bathing. 

The incident occurred yesterday (16), with the victims reported missing since then. 

Two individuals remain unaccounted for, while two others rescued from the water are receiving hospital treatment, police stated.
