Harini Amarasuriya met the Chairperson and Commissioners of the National Women's Commission of Sri Lanka at Temple Trees on Friday.

The Commission briefed the Prime Minister on the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Act, No. 37 of 2024.

The Prime Minister commended the Commission’s work in promoting women’s rights, gender equality and women’s empowerment in Sri Lanka.
