Sri Lanka Police have announced strict legal action against vehicles emitting excessive black smoke on public roads.

DIG W.P.J. Senadheera stated that inspections will be carried out with the Department of Motor Traffic to identify such vehicles.

Offending vehicles will be taken into custody for legal action.

The public has been urged to report violations via WhatsApp number 070 3500525 by sending vehicle details or video evidence.
