SLC MAJOR CLUB LEAGUE TOURNAMENT : CCC and Tamil Union remain on top at the end of Week 10

The 10th week of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Major League Tournament ended last Sunday (23). Only five matches took place, with only two of them producing results; the rest of the three matches were abandoned due to rain. Navy Sports Club played against Ace Capital Cricket Club with the match ending in a draw at Katunayake. The Pakistan left-arm spinner Mohammad Irfan took six wickets for 83 runs for Ace Capital. For the sailors, Sahan Kosala, Adheesha Nanayakkara, and Savin Gunasekara scored half-centuries with the bat. Badureliya Cricket Club played against Air Force Sports Club and were restricted to just 188 runs with Gayan Sirisoma and Movin Subasingha sharing nine wickets among them. In reply, the Air Force batters were 71 for five at stumps on the final day.
