Sri Lanka Police have announced traffic restrictions in the Nugegoda area due to a public rally scheduled for tomorrow(20), at the Ananda Samarakoon Open Air Theatre.

The special traffic plan will be implemented from 2.00 p.m. until the rally concludes. 

Vehicular movement will be restricted along the section of Nawala Road from the High Level Junction to the Nawala Roundabout.

The police advise drivers travelling towards Nawala/Pita Kotte to use the alternative route via Gamsabha Junction and Kattiya Junction, proceeding towards Mirihana. 

The plan is in place to ensure public safety and the security of those attending the event.
