A Belavia Airlines flight from Belarus is scheduled to make its inaugural landing at Mattala International Airport this afternoon(28).

The flight is expected to bring 170 tourists to the island. This marks a new travel connection for Sri Lanka.

In addition to the Belavia service, a Red Wings airline flight, owned by Russia, is also slated to arrive in the country today, further boosting tourism arrivals from the region.
